I have an airline analytics project based on three CSV datasets: flights, tickets, and airport information.
I have already completed the initial data analysis in Python and have identified the key business metrics and insights. I now want an experienced Tableau developer/data analyst to turn the analysis into a polished, interactive Tableau dashboard suitable for a professional data analytics portfolio.
I want the final workbook to demonstrate strong data modeling, calculated fields, dashboard design, and business storytelling.
Build a Tableau workbook (.twb/.twbx) that includes approximately 3 interactive dashboards:
1. Executive Overview
Include KPIs such as:
* Total Revenue
* Total Cost
* Total Profit
* Average Occupancy
* Number of Routes
* Average Profit per Flight
Include visualizations such as:
* Top/bottom routes by profitability
* Profit vs. occupancy analysis
* Route performance table
* Interactive filters
2. Route Investment / Opportunity Analysis
Create an interactive analysis showing which routes have the strongest economics.
Potential metrics include:
* Profit per flight
* Occupancy
* Profit margin
* Delay costs
* Aircraft investment
* Breakeven flights
I would like an effective visual such as a route opportunity matrix/scatter plot rather than simply a collection of bar charts.
3. Route Deep Dive
Allow the user to select a route and dynamically view:
* Revenue
* Costs
* Profit
* Profit per flight
* Occupancy
* Average fare
* Delay costs
* Breakeven flights
* Revenue/cost breakdown
Tableau Requirements
Please use Tableau best practices, including:
* Geographic maps showing airports, routes, origins/destinations, etc.
* Route lines connecting airports on maps
* Interactive map filtering/highlighting
* KPI cards and modern dashboard design
* Advanced Tableau calculations
* Parameters, filters, dashboard actions, and tooltips
* Drill-down from overall airline performance → route → airport
* Clean, professional visual design—not a generic Tableau template
* A polished layout suitable for showcasing in a Data Analyst portfolio
* .twbx file plus the underlying data model/calculations
