What I need
I need an experienced full-stack developer to help complete and improve SurveyFlow, a land surveying and GIS platform. The system combines a React/Vite web dashboard, FastAPI backend, PostgreSQL/PostGIS database, and Expo/React Native mobile field-survey application.
The main goal is to build a reliable workflow for surveyors to collect GPS/GNSS control points in the field, work offline, synchronize data when internet connectivity returns, visualize spatial data on interactive maps, manage surveying projects and documents, and prepare professional survey deliverables.
Key work includes reviewing the existing codebase, fixing backend/frontend integration issues, improving PostGIS/GIS functionality, strengthening offline synchronization, improving authentication and permissions, testing APIs, improving the mobile field-survey interface, and preparing the application for production deployment.
I also want clean, maintainable code, proper documentation, automated testing, Docker support, and a professional user interface.
Preferred technologies: Python, FastAPI, React, Vite, React Native/Expo, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Leaflet and REST APIs.
The developer should first review the existing repository, identify incomplete or problematic areas, provide a clear implementation plan, and then work through the highest-priority items systematically.
