I’m ready to put our two animated superhero mascots to work in a series of light-hearted, four-panel comic strips that poke everyday, off-beat fun at the act of shaving. My plan is to commission 10–12 individual strips. Each must:
• Keep the humor squarely aimed at an adult audience—think quick, clever gags rather than slapstick.
• Use the same mascots every time (I’ll supply reference poses and colors).
• Rotate simple settings so readers see them trimming stubble in a bathroom mirror, sneaking in a lunchtime shave at the office, or even attempting a dry shave on a windy rooftop—household, office, and outdoor scenes are all fair game.
• Contain concise dialogue balloons; I’ll review text before final lettering.
Artwork style should stay consistent with the mascots’ existing look—clean lines, bold color, no overly busy backgrounds. Please deliver each strip as:
1. A high-resolution flattened PNG or JPG for quick sharing.
2. A fully layered PSD or AI file so we can tweak text or colors later.
Timeline and milestone suggestions are welcome, but I’d like to start reviewing rough pencil layouts for the first two strips within a week of project kickoff. If you have a portfolio piece that shows crisp sequential art or humor work, point me to it so I can get a feel for your timing and flow.
dialogue should be limited to 10-12 words over 4 panels using buzz words like rash/burn/itch/how many shaves on a blade /the cost/other irritations/etc
