Subpoena Response Support

We are US based communications platform looking for an legal expert to handle subpeona, warrants. The work centres on two areas: first, focused legal research on the governing federal and state rules (grand-jury subpoenas, Rule 17, privilege, scope limitations, protective motions); second, preparation of all written materials required to answer the subpoena—cover letter, objections, privilege log, production index, and any supporting memoranda.

You will review the subpoena, identify responsive categories, research any viable challenges or narrowing arguments, and then draft the response package ready for filing and service. No court appearance is required; the emphasis is on research accuracy and meticulous document preparation.

To succeed you should be a US-based attorney or highly experienced paralegal fluent in criminal procedure and discovery. Prior experience with federal or state investigative subpoenas is strongly preferred, and the ability to turn work around quickly under confidentiality is essential.

Deliverables
• Brief research memo summarising governing rules, deadlines, and any objection grounds
• Draft response letter and objection statements, formatted for counsel signature
• Privilege log and production index in Excel or Word
• Final zipped folder of all response documents, organised for easy production
• Draft and submit submissions via official corporate e-mail.
• Handle back and forth communication with LEA/other agencies via phone/email (If arises)
