I already have a substantial body of peer-reviewed sources on values-based conversations, advance care planning, cultural context, and religious beliefs in healthcare. Now I need that material shaped into a cohesive, publication-ready Doctor of Ministry thesis and applied project.
The priority is refining the research writing and structure. Each chapter must flow logically from problem statement to methodology, findings, and ministry application, with every claim firmly anchored to the literature I supply. Chicago/Turabian citation style must remain consistent, and the final text should read with doctoral-level clarity while still sounding like my pastoral voice.
What I’m asking you to do
• Reorganize existing chapters, tightening arguments and adding smooth transitions.
• Expand thin sections—always grounding new content in the sources I provide and flagging any gaps that need fresh references.
• Standardize footnotes, bibliography, tables, and appendices.
• Edit for grammar, style, and academic tone in Microsoft Word with tracked changes.
Acceptance criteria
– A revised manuscript my committee can approve without further structural edits.
– A concise outline explaining major changes and the rationale behind them.
– A fully cross-checked reference list.
When you apply, highlight your doctoral-level academic writing and editing experience, especially in theology, healthcare ethics, or related fields. Familiarity with Chicago/Turabian, qualitative research methods, and citation managers (Zotero or EndNote) is a plus.
The timeline is flexible, but I would like a committee-ready draft within six weeks. Let me know what milestones you suggest and how you would approach polishing this work into a winning doctoral project.
