Streamlined WordPress Admin Dashboard

Our day-to-day editors only care about three routine updates, yet WordPress keeps throwing the entire kitchen sink at them. I’ll send you a full site export so you can work locally, demonstrate the changes, and then we’ll deploy on our end.

Here’s what I need:

• A new dashboard landing screen that surfaces just the items our office manager actually touches, written in plain English rather than “posts,” “widgets,” and other WP lingo.
• Irrelevant menus, settings, fields, and meta boxes hidden or removed based on role so Editors, Authors, and Contributors see exactly what matters and nothing more.
• Quick-link buttons for the top three or four recurring tasks.
• Clean, maintainable code—no tower of plugins—so we can keep updating WordPress without breakage.
• A short screen-recording walkthrough that I can hand to the team for training.

You’ll need solid experience with custom admin hooks, role capabilities, and a genuine feel for non-technical usability. If I suggest something that could confuse the end user, I expect you to push back and propose a simpler path.

Once you’ve delivered the local demo, we’ll review, approve, and move it to production.
