I’m building a web-based platform aimed squarely at portfolio management. The core of the product is a clean, dashboard-style interface that lets users see how their positions are performing and understand the risk they’re carrying at a glance.

Here’s the experience I’m after:
• A single-page front end that loads fast, adapts to desktop and mobile, and presents performance tracking widgets (P&L, time-weighted returns, benchmark comparisons) alongside concise risk assessment panels (volatility, beta, VaR).
• A secure back end that ingests market prices from an external data API, stores both historical and intraday snapshots, and calculates the metrics that feed the dashboard.
• User accounts with authentication, encrypted storage for portfolio holdings, and role-based access so I can add an “advisor” tier later.
• A reporting endpoint that returns JSON for the widgets plus a CSV export for deeper analysis.

I’m stack-agnostic but lean toward modern JavaScript (React + Node/Express) or Python (FastAPI/Django) paired with PostgreSQL. Containerising with Docker and deploying to AWS or another cloud of your choice is ideal; CI/CD via GitHub Actions is a plus.

Deliverables
1. Source code in a private Git repo with clear README and setup scripts.
2. Deployed staging site with sample data to demonstrate performance and risk panels.
3. Post-handover support for bug fixes during a short acceptance window.

If this lines up with your skills in full-stack development and financial data handling, I’d love to hear how you’d approach it and a rough timeline for each milestone.
