I am developing a full line of stainless-steel furniture and I need a designer who can translate my ideas—and a library of reference photos—into production-ready drawings. The first pieces on the schedule are dining, console, and centre tables plus chairs, stools, and bedside units. All seating must also scale for home, hotel, restaurant, event, and bar use, so ergonomics and durability are essential.
You will be working in both 2D and 3D. I expect clean manufacturing drawings with every critical dimension, material gauge, joint detail, and hardware call-out, along with high-quality renders that let me validate proportions before we cut metal. I am happy to sketch concepts or describe them in a call, but I’m also counting on your own design insight to refine forms, propose smart construction methods, and solve any stability issues that arise.
Please highlight your stainless-steel furniture experience when you respond; seeing examples of past tables, seating, or storage pieces will help me choose quickly.
Deliverables
• 3D models (STEP or similar) of each approved piece
• Fully dimensioned 2D fabrication drawings (DWG/PDF) ready for laser cutting and welding
• Exploded views or detail sheets for complex joints where needed
• Up to two revision rounds per item to nail down aesthetics and manufacturability
Files should be organised by item and labelled clearly so my metal shop can move straight to production.
