Sound designer / music producer — 5-minute atmospheric instrumental soundscape
I need an original 5-minute instrumental piece in the style of a festival art-installation soundtrack. No vocals. It should loosely reference an existing melody as a recurring motif (melody and private reference shared with shortlisted applicants).
Style: cinematic, immersive — sustained drone and pad, organic sound-design textures, a slow pulse that gradually emerges and thickens, the melody appearing only as fragments that surface and recede. Think "walking through a large art installation at night."
Structure (rough)
0:00–1:30: drone, pad, scattered sound design, near-silence to texture
1:30–3:30: pulse enters and builds, melody fragments grow more recognisable
3:30–5:00: peak density, then settle back to drone for a loop-friendly ending
The piece should loop cleanly (end resolves into the beginning).
Deliverables
Final stereo mix, WAV 48 kHz / 24-bit, plus MP3
Separate stems (drone/pad, sound design, percussion, melody)
