Hey creators,
I am looking for a detail-obsessed Video Editor to join our team for our flagship developer education platform (Think in Python / @shiv.techmastery).
We are producing high-retention technical YouTube longform masterclasses (16:9) and high-impact developer reels/shorts (9:16).
Why you will love working with us (Zero Guesswork): You won’t have to guess what to edit. For every video, we provide:
Lossless studio voiceover stems (WAV/MP3)
Second-by-second Edit Decision List (EDL) with exact timestamps
Actual Python code snippets, architecture flowcharts (SVG), and SFX library
What We Expect From You:
Timeline Assembly: Assemble 3-track timelines (A-Roll screen recordings + B-Roll visual proof + Kinetic text overlays).
Pacing & Retention: Apply the 3-to-5 second attention reset rule (smooth punch-ins, J/L cuts, speed-ramping code walkthroughs). No sluggish pauses or dead air.
Clean Developer Aesthetic: We love the clean, modern tech look (Linear, Stripe, BackendLore). No cheesy 2016 glitch packs or rainbow transitions.
Audio & Sound Design: Basic audio ducking (BGM drops under dialogue) and synchronized foley (subtle clicks, whooshes, chimes).
Must-Haves:
Expertise in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro / After Effects.
Basic comfort looking at code / developer tools (VS Code, Terminal, GitHub) so you don't cut off syntax.
High reliability and respect for deadlines (consistent turnaround within 24–48 hours).
Compensation & Terms:
Paid per project or monthly retainer (competitive, based on experience & test task).
100% Remote & flexible hours.
Long-term pipeline: 15+ course episodes + 30+ shortform reels queued up.
How to Apply (Anti-Spam Filter): Please DM me on @shiv.techmastry instagram with:
Links to 1 or 2 videos you have edited (preferably tech, educational, or clean SaaS walkthroughs).
What editing software and machine setup you use.
Start your message with the word "ARCHITECTURE" so I know you actually read this post.
