I’m getting ready to appear in Sarasota County’s 12th Judicial Circuit small-claims court and need targeted coaching so I walk in fully prepared and confident. I’m not looking for general legal advice; instead, I want practical, procedure-focused guidance that keeps me from tripping over the rules.

My biggest need is courtroom preparation. Specifically, I’d like help:

• Organising and labeling the documents that will serve as my primary evidence, making sure each exhibit meets local admissibility requirements.
• Understanding the small-claims calendar, pre-trial conferences, and any mandatory exchanges or disclosures the clerk expects before my hearing.
• Practicing courtroom etiquette—when to stand, how to address the judge, presenting my timeline concisely, and responding to objections—so my presentation feels smooth and professional.

Remote sessions are fine for document reviews and strategy, but an in-person meeting or mock run-through in Sarasota would be ideal because you’ll already know the quirks of this circuit’s judges and clerks.

If you’ve guided pro-se litigants through the 12th Circuit before, I’d love to hear how you’ll structure our coaching, roughly how many hours you expect we’ll need, and any materials you provide (checklists, sample exhibit indexes, etc.).
