Review short child-speech recordings for target-sound accuracy, substitutions, omissions, distortions, and recording usability.
Identify cases where automated scores or retry recommendations conflict with clinical judgment.
Review generated sound demonstrations and coaching instructions for accuracy and clarity.
Key deliverables
A practical review rubric with examples and an “uncertain/unscorable” option.
A clinically labeled recording set, with disagreements flagged for resolution.
A concise summary of recurring errors and recommended improvements.
Feedback on revised scoring decisions and coaching examples.
Ideal background: Licensed SLP with pediatric articulation/phonology experience and strong phonetic listening skills. Experience with research, annotation, or reviewer training is helpful.
Working arrangement: Start with a small paid pilot, with hours and scope agreed upfront. Secure review tools and technical support are provided. The role involves evaluation and quality assurance rather than direct therapy; recordings are confidential, and honest findings are expected regardless of whether they support the technology.
