I’m planning to launch a full-featured payment processor inspired by Skrill and I need an experienced developer or team to turn the vision into a secure, production-ready product.
Core transaction flows
• Peer-to-peer transfers so users can instantly send money to one another.
• Merchant payments with a clean checkout flow and a flexible API that online shops can plug into quickly.
Target platforms
The service must run smoothly on both Web and Mobile. A responsive web app paired with well-documented REST or GraphQL endpoints is acceptable; if you have a preferred hybrid or native mobile approach, outline why it is the best fit.
Security foundation
Two-factor authentication is non-negotiable for every critical action, and all data—at rest and in transit—must be fully encrypted. I’m also keen to see your recommendations on further hardening (e.g., tokenisation, PCI-DSS compliance, basic fraud monitoring).
What I need from you
1. Technical architecture describing databases, payment gateways, and security layers.
2. Implementation of user onboarding, wallet management, transaction processing, and merchant integration.
3. Admin dashboard for KYC review, limits, and manual overrides.
4. End-to-end testing plan plus documentation that another developer could pick up.
Acceptance criteria
• A demo environment accessible via web browser and mobile emulator.
• Successful peer-to-peer and merchant test transactions with clear logs.
• 2FA operational and encryption verified through your test scripts.
• Deployment guide and concise README.
Timeline is flexible, but I value clear milestones and frequent check-ins. Suggest the tech stack you feel will scale well (Node.js, Django, Laravel, Go, or similar) and showcase previous fintech or payments work if possible.
Looking forward to collaborating on a secure, user-friendly processor that can compete with today’s market leaders.
