Short Story Writer Needed

I need an imaginative writer who can craft original short stories from scratch. The tone and genre can vary—sometimes literary, sometimes light-hearted—so versatility is a plus. For each assignment I’ll provide a brief prompt or theme; you’ll turn that into a polished tale that holds a reader’s attention from the opening line through the closing beat.

A typical piece should feel complete yet concise, landing comfortably in normal short-story territory. Clean prose, well-shaped characters, and a clear narrative arc matter more to me than strict word counts, but the final text should arrive proofread and ready for publication. Please deliver the stories in an editable format such as Word or Google Docs so I can leave comments when needed.

If you love storytelling and can meet agreed deadlines without sacrificing quality, I’m eager to see a sample of your previous fiction and discuss the first prompt.
