I opened a Shopify account a while back but never got beyond the default template. I’m ready to launch now and need a seasoned Shopify specialist to transform the bare store into a polished, sales-ready site.
What you’ll be working with
• Product type: physical items that I will ship to customers.
• Initial catalogue: up to 20 products.
• Current assets: I still need help sourcing or creating most photos, copy, pricing, size/colour details and shipping information.
Scope of work
1. Theme customisation – choose or refine a theme so the storefront looks professional and matches the brand style we discuss.
2. Product build-out – photograph or source images, write concise SEO-friendly descriptions, input variants, pricing, stock levels and organise everything into clear collections.
3. Store settings – configure payment gateways, tax, shipping zones and policies so checkout works smoothly.
4. Launch checklist – test orders, mobile responsiveness, speed tweaks, basic on-page SEO and any essential apps.
5. Handover coaching – once the store is live, walk me through day-to-day tasks such as adding products, fulfilling orders and running promotions. A short written or recorded guide would be ideal so I can reference it later.
Acceptance
The project is complete when the storefront is public, a test order processes without issues, and I feel confident managing the essentials on my own.
If you have a portfolio of Shopify sites for physical products and enjoy guiding first-time store owners, I’d love to work with you.
