Shopify Product & Store Specialist — AI-Assisted
We are looking for a reliable Shopify specialist to help us improve and maintain an established e-commerce store.
The main focus will be working directly inside Shopify to update products, improve product pages, clean up catalog data, and help implement ongoing store improvements.
Initial Work
Our first priority is making sure our product catalog is accurate, consistent, and customer-friendly.
Tasks may include:
Updating and improving product descriptions
Checking product titles, specifications, pricing, variants, and inventory
Adding or updating metafields and product data
Cleaning up product tags and collections
Improving product images and gallery organization
Identifying outdated, discontinued, duplicated, or incorrect products
Helping configure Shopify Search & Discovery filters
Performing bulk product updates when needed
Checking product pages on desktop and mobile
There may also be occasional light Shopify theme work, including:
Small HTML/CSS changes
Fixing mobile formatting issues
Adjusting Shopify sections or settings
Minor Liquid edits when necessary
How We Work
We use AI tools such as ChatGPT to help research, organize, write, and speed up repetitive work.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable using AI but also understands that product information must be verified before changes are made.
Accuracy is more important than simply completing tasks quickly.
If product information is unclear or conflicting, we expect it to be flagged rather than guessed.
Ideal Experience
You should be comfortable with:
Shopify Admin
Product and variant management
Metafields
Collections and product organization
Shopify Search & Discovery
Shopify bulk editing or CSV updates
Basic HTML/CSS
Basic Shopify theme editing
Using AI tools to improve productivity
Experience with Matrixify is a plus, but not required.
What We Are Looking For
We would like to find someone we can work with long term who can learn our catalog and standards and help us steadily improve the store.
You do not need to be an advanced Shopify developer.
We are more interested in someone who is:
Detail-oriented
Comfortable working inside Shopify
Able to follow established standards
Good at identifying problems
Comfortable learning new processes
Efficient with AI and bulk-editing tools
