We are seeking an experienced database and backend engineer to help us evaluate and resolve concerns involving an existing software application developed primarily with AI coding tools.
**Our technology stack includes SQLite, Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, and supporting testing and development tools, including Pytest, Vitest, and Git.**
The application has grown substantially, but subsequent technical audits identified concerns involving database architecture, data integrity, incomplete functionality, application integration, and independent verification.
We are looking for an expert who can review these issues, identify their underlying causes, and recommend practical, technically sound solutions. We are open to alternative approaches and welcome professional recommendations based on the engineer's experience.
**Confidentiality is important to us.** We do not intend to provide our actual database or unrestricted access to our proprietary application. However, we can provide selected technical documentation, sanitized schemas, relevant source code, audit findings, and test results. We are also open to approaches involving locally executed diagnostic scripts and sharing sanitized results with the engineer.
