Senior Product Manager — Manifest
About Manifest
Manifest is building modern software for the tours and activities industry.
Our customers run real-world businesses: tours, attractions, experiences, rentals, and activities. They need software that helps them sell more, operate smoothly, and deliver great guest experiences.
We're building a B2B2C SaaS platform that brings booking, ecommerce, payments, accounting, operations, and customer experience together in a modern architecture. The product surface is broad, the workflows are nuanced, and the opportunity is big. That surface now spans several distinct product areas, including a newer, AI-native platform for building and delivering customer websites end-to-end. We're hiring more than one Senior Product Manager, and we'll match each hire to the area where their strengths fit best, from established features to fast-moving, zero-to-one greenfield work.
We're looking for Senior Product Managers to own product direction, roadmap, and prioritization for one or more key areas of Manifest.
This is not a backlog management role. We're looking for someone who can take ambiguous customer and business problems, find the shape of the opportunity, make smart tradeoffs, and help a cross-functional team ship high-quality product experiences.
About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll turn customer insight, business context, and technical possibilities into clear product direction and own the delivery end-to-end.
Modern product work is changing, and this role reflects that. We expect our PMs to be fluent and genuinely enthusiastic users of AI-assisted tools—using Claude, Cursor, v0, and similar tools to explore interactions, build lightweight prototypes, and make product ideas concrete before implementation begins. On some of our teams, AI-native workflows are not just a way of working faster; they're central to the product itself.
You'll work closely with Product leadership, Engineering, customer-facing teams, and design-minded front-end engineers. Depending on the area you own, there may not be a dedicated product designer, so you should be comfortable playing an active role in shaping user workflows, interaction patterns, and overall product quality.
You'll also be the bridge between executive vision and execution: taking high-level direction set by our leadership team and honing it into concrete, buildable product requirements. Leadership helps frame the why and the what, but you own the product decisions about what to build and how to bring it to life.
You do not need to be a front-end engineer, and you won't be expected to write production code. But strong technical fluency is a real advantage—enough to collaborate deeply with engineers on UI-heavy, technically nuanced product areas, and to understand the systems you're shaping. A technical or former engineering background is strongly preferred.
You should also be comfortable owning the delivery side of the work, along with the product vision, like milestones, sequencing, and keeping a small team moving.
What You'll Do
Own roadmap, prioritization, delivery, and product outcomes for one or more areas of Manifest
Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their businesses, and the tours and activities industry
Lead discovery with customers, internal stakeholders, support teams, sales, customer success, and go-to-market partners
Translate customer problems, business goals, and operational complexity into clear product direction
Define product requirements, success metrics, release scope, and tradeoffs
Partner closely with engineering to shape pragmatic, high-quality solutions, and help sequence and drive delivery
Work closely with front-end engineers on user flows, interaction details, edge cases, and product polish
Use AI-assisted tools, lightweight prototypes, wireframes, diagrams, and sketches to clarify product ideas and reduce ambiguity
Help raise the bar for UX quality, including in areas without a dedicated Product Designer
Create clear product artifacts: problem statements, opportunity briefs, product specs, workflow diagrams, acceptance criteria, launch plans, and release notes
Balance customer value, business impact, technical constraints, and delivery realities
Communicate product direction clearly across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and leadership
Collaborate with Product leadership on strategy while taking ownership of day-to-day product execution
What We're Looking For
Significant Product Management experience, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C SaaS environment
A track record of owning roadmap, prioritization, and delivery for meaningful product areas
Strong product judgment: you can move from ambiguous problems to coherent product direction
Strong written communication and the ability to create clear, actionable product specs
A measurement-driven approach to product, defining success metrics up front and proving the impact of changes quantitatively
Fluency and enthusiasm for AI-assisted product work using tools like Claude, Cursor, v0, Figma, or FigJam to prototype, explore, and communicate ideas
A technical background, former engineering experience, or strong technical fluency; enough to understand the product deeply and partner closely with engineers on technically nuanced, UI-heavy areas
Comfort owning delivery and project execution on small teams alongside product vision
Experience leading discovery, evaluating opportunities, and making thoughtful tradeoffs
Strong UX instincts and an eye for product quality, usability, workflow design, and polish
Familiarity with modern front-end patterns, design systems, HTML, CSS, or component-based product development
Experience with complex workflows, operational tools, booking flows, ecommerce, marketplaces, or other transaction-heavy SaaS products
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and bring structure to undefined problems, including in zero-to-one / startup-mode environments
A pragmatic, collaborative operating style
Nice to Have
Experience in travel, tourism, activities, hospitality, reservations, ecommerce, or booking platforms
Experience working on developer-adjacent products or platforms
Experience in a scale-up environment where product, design, and engineering responsibilities are highly collaborative
A track record of using AI tools to accelerate product discovery, prototyping, analysis, or specification in a real production setting
Experience with analytics, experimentation, funnel optimization, SEO, or conversion-focused product work
How We Work
We move quickly, but we care about craft.
Manifest serves users with complex day-to-day workflows, so product quality matters. We care about whether the product makes sense, whether the workflow is intuitive, whether the edge cases are handled thoughtfully, and whether the experience feels modern and trustworthy.
We value product managers who are curious, direct, clear-thinking, and outcome-oriented. We are not looking for someone who simply collects requirements or manages tickets. We're looking for someone who can understand customer problems, shape direction, make tradeoffs, and partner with Engineering from ambiguity through delivery and iteration.
