The Role
We are looking for a highly seasoned Senior Full-Stack Developer to oversee the technical delivery of Phase 1 and Phase 2. You will lead the architecture, guide the implementation of the backend APIs, provide architectural support to a Backend Engineer, and oversee 4 Frontend Interns migrating and building our mobile application in React Native.
Crucial Note: We are building a platform designed to sustain millions of users. If you rely on AI generation tools (like ChatGPT, Cursor, or Copilot) to write your core logic, this role is not for you. We need a true systems thinker who writes clean, scalable, production-grade code from scratch, understands deep database optimization down to the metal, and can debug complex distributed systems independently.
Core Responsibilities
Full-Stack Technical Oversight: Act as the lead architect, ensuring the backend microservices scale flawlessly while the React Native frontend is structured cleanly and modularly.
Backend Architecture & Code Reviews: Ensure code written in Java 17 (Spring Boot), secured via JWT, and deployed across AWS EC2/IAM follows enterprise best practices (JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, Jenkins CI/CD).
High-Level Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, architecture reviews, and final code sign-offs for our Backend Engineer and 4 Frontend Interns.
Complex Feature Engineering: Lead the design of complex features like real-time user-matching logic, secure KYC verification pipelines, and budget-conscious AI wrapper integrations.
What You Bring
Technical Mastery: 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with a proven track record of shipping production-grade systems.
Backend Proficiency: Deep, native expertise in Java 17 (Spring Boot), relational database optimization using MySQL, and setting up robust microservices.
Frontend Knowledge: Strong practical or structural understanding of React Native and state management (Redux/Zustand) to successfully guide the team's frontend strategy.
AWS & DevOps: Hands-on experience configuring and managing production infrastructure on AWS (EC2 and IAM).
Engineering Independence: Exceptional debugging skills. You must be completely self-reliant in writing, testing, and optimizing code without leaning on AI coding assistants.
What We Offer
This will be for 1 month contractual role.
30% Completion Bonus: If the team successfully completes both Phase 1 and Phase 2 features before the project deadline, you will receive an additional 30% extra on top of your core salary.
