Self-Help Book Layout & Cover AND PAGE DESIGNNG

I’m wrapping up a self-help manuscript and now need a designer who can turn my words into a visually engaging, print-ready book. The overall vibe I’m after is casual and friendly—something that feels approachable on a coffee-shop table yet polished enough for bookstore shelves.

Here’s what I’d like you to handle:
• Full cover suite: front, spine, and back
• Interior page layout with thoughtful typography and clear hierarchy
• Print-ready PDFs plus source files (InDesign or Affinity Publisher preferred)

I haven’t locked in a color palette or a specific cover element yet, so feel free to pitch bright, soft, or neutral directions—and whether illustration, photography, or pure type will serve the concept best. I’m happy to explore a few mock-ups before settling on the final look.

Acceptance criteria
1. Final files meet standard CMYK print specs for my chosen POD service (I’ll share exact trim size once we start).
2. Interior pages export cleanly to both print PDF and an EPUB-friendly format.
3. Fonts are either licensed for commercial use or open source.
