I have a batch of printed documents in clear, English text that I need turned into polished, fully searchable PDFs. You will receive either high-resolution scans or the original image files; your job is to run accurate OCR, embed the text layer, and return a final PDF that lets me copy text or run keyword searches instantly.

Beyond the text layer, I still want each page to look exactly like the source—no cropping, skewing, or ghost artifacts—so please use the OCR engine’s deskew, de-speckle, and background cleanup options where helpful. Tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, ABBYY FineReader, or an equivalent Tesseract-based workflow are fine as long as the end result meets the standards below.

Acceptance criteria
• Every page is selectable/searchable in English
• Original layout, fonts, and graphics remain visually intact
• No page is mis-aligned or rotated incorrectly
• File opens quickly and does not balloon in size unnecessarily
• Delivery as a single consolidated PDF (or multiple PDFs if I supply them folderized that way)

Once you finish, send back the optimized PDF(s) along with a quick note on the OCR accuracy you achieved and the tool you used.
