About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented SAP S/4HANA Data Controller to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of master data across our SAP S/4HANA environment. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality business data, supporting business operations, and enabling reliable reporting and decision-making.
Working closely with Business, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, Manufacturing, Planning, and IT teams, you will ensure that master data complies with company standards and SAP best practices. SAP S/4HANA relies heavily on accurate master data to support end-to-end business processes across finance, procurement, manufacturing, and sales.
Your Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and validate SAP S/4HANA master data, including:
Material Master
Business Partners
Customers and Vendors
Cost Centers
Profit Centers
General Ledger accounts
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across SAP modules
Monitor data quality through regular audits and validation checks
Support data governance policies, standards, and procedures
Investigate and resolve master data issues in collaboration with business stakeholders
Develop and maintain master data documentation and process guides
Support users with data-related queries and provide training where required
Work with IT and business teams to improve master data processes and automation
Compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
Your Profile
Apprenticeship or Studies in a technical field, state-certified technician or comparable qualification
Very good SAP S/4HANA knowledge
First professional experience in a comparable position
Very good knowledge of German (C-Level) and good English skills (B-Level)
High-quality awareness
You are characterized by your strong teamwork and communication skills
Your target-oriented way of working rounds off your profile
