# Salesforce / Fonteva Specialist — Short-Term Contract
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce / Fonteva specialist for a short-term engagement supporting a national professional association.
The immediate priority is to assess and stabilize an existing environment supporting membership, examination registration, payments, and related business processes. We need someone who can investigate problems, implement practical fixes, and leave clear documentation that staff can use.
### Scope of work
* Review recent incidents affecting registration, purchasing, and related workflows.
* Identify root causes and distinguish temporary workarounds from lasting solutions.
* Assess relevant Salesforce/Fonteva configuration, custom code, and integrations.
* Implement agreed corrective changes using appropriate testing and production release controls.
* Establish practical checks before important registration and results-release dates.
* Document findings, changes, remaining risks, and recommended next steps in plain language.
* Transfer knowledge to internal staff and the IT lead.
### Required experience
* Demonstrated, hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting **Fonteva in a live Salesforce environment**.
* Strong understanding of Fonteva membership, registration, e-commerce, and payment workflows.
* Ability to troubleshoot Salesforce automation, permissions, Apex, and integrations.
* Experience working safely across development, testing, and production environments.
* Clear communication with non-technical staff and business owners.
* Ability to work independently within an agreed scope and provide timely progress updates.
Experience with professional associations, certification programs, and candidate-facing services would be an asset.
### Engagement
This is a focused, short-term contract with an initial assessment followed by agreed remediation priorities. The specialist will work with the IT lead and relevant departmental owners. Follow-on work may be available.
