I have an existing Excel workbook with several tabs of raw sales data. Before I share the numbers with our sales and finance team, I need two things:
First, the spreadsheet itself has to be resized and reorganized so it’s easy to navigate. Columns occasionally run off-screen and key figures aren’t visible without heavy scrolling. Please tighten the layout, apply clear number formatting, freeze panes where it helps, and add any simple formulas or pivots that make the file more user-friendly.
Second, I want the story in that data pulled into a concise PowerPoint deck. The slides should showcase sales, revenue, and overall financial performance while highlighting meaningful trends and comparisons over time. I’m not looking for generic charts—each graphic must tie directly to an insight the team can act on. Think: year-over-year growth, month-to-date trajectories, and any notable spikes or dips worth a quick discussion. Use clean, modern visuals; our audience prefers straightforward bar, line, and waterfall charts over ornate infographics.
Deliverables
• A reformatted Excel file, ready for day-to-day use
• A PowerPoint deck (≈10–12 slides) with data-linked charts, brief takeaway captions, and consistent styling
Everything should remain editable so we can refresh the numbers ourselves next quarter. If you typically build in Excel, PowerPoint, or Power Query, that works for me—just keep external add-ins to a minimum. Once I hand over the source file, I’ll point out a few must-cover metrics, and I’d like a quick draft within three days so we can fine-tune before final delivery.
Looking forward to seeing how you turn rows of figures into clear, decision-ready insights.
