This project centres on building a cohesive suite of bite-sized Roblox experiences. From a single lobby, players will be able to jump into three distinct game modes—a brain-teasing puzzle challenge, a fast-paced action arena, and a light simulation sandbox. All modes must run smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Key play features
• Real-time multiplayer matchmaking (up to 8 concurrent users per instance)
• Custom user avatars that persist across all modes
• Global and per-game leaderboards stored with Roblox DataStore for long-term stats tracking
Scope of work
1. Develop a shared lobby with teleport portals and a seamless UI flow.
2. Code each mini-game in clean, well-commented Lua, re-using core systems where possible.
3. Integrate leaderboards, avatar customisation menus, and matchmaking into every mode.
4. Optimise for low-memory devices and ensure compliance with Roblox Community Standards.
Acceptance criteria
• All three games load from the lobby without errors in Studio and live servers.
• Multiplayer, avatar customisation, and leaderboards function consistently across sessions.
• Average latency stays under 150 ms in testing with eight players.
• Source files are delivered as an open-sourced Roblox place file plus separate module scripts with clear documentation.
If you have proven experience with Roblox Studio, Lua scripting, and multiplayer systems, this should be a straightforward yet fun build. I’ll handle art assets; you focus on mechanics, UI, and back-end logic. Hand-over is complete once the games are live in a private test universe and all criteria are met.
