Rewrite an AI-drafted technical white paper into a polished human-authored (T14)

## What you will make
You will turn an AI-generated technical white paper on **AI pretraining: data vs. model recipes** into a polished, publication-ready paper that reads as if an accomplished human author wrote it. The readers are technically literate. The draft is about 3,000 words plus a methodology appendix.
The full pack (white-paper-pack (md)) is attached to this listing so you can read it before you bid. It holds the draft, the assignment, the deliverables and **nine writing directions**. The assignment, the deliverables and all nine directions in the pack are part of this brief and are binding. Please read them in full.
## Deliverables: one .docx with three parts
1. **The paper plus methodology appendix**, fully rewritten and publication-ready.
2. **Editor Notes**: the main changes you made to structure, argument flow and voice, and why.
3. **Process note**: a short note on what you used any AI tools for, plus the **signed no-online-research statement** (wording as given in the pack).
## Hard constraints
- Keep **every number and every claim exactly**. Do not change, round, soften, drop or add any of them.
- **No online or outside research** and no new sources. Work only from the pack.
- AI tools are allowed. The finished paper must read as human-written: no generic phrasing, filler, stock transitions or repetitive structure.
- This is ghostwriting. There is no byline, and full IP is assigned to the client.
- Follow all nine writing directions in the pack.
## Where you have freedom
You choose the voice, sentence rhythm, paragraphing, headings, transitions, and how tightly to restructure. You can reorder sections and sharpen the argument, as long as every number and claim survives intact and the directions are met.
## How the work is judged
- Does it read like a strong human technical author writing for informed peers?
- Is every number and claim from the draft preserved exactly?
- Are all nine directions followed, and are all three parts in a single .docx?
- Do the Editor Notes show clear, deliberate editorial judgment?
