Revit GRC Planters & Benches -- 2

We require an experienced freelancer or identified team to prepare a complete BIM, engineering and production-drawing package for four different GRC planter types and four different GRC bench types.

Maximum duration: 10 calendar days for the entire package, including integration into the project main model. Quote all fees in USD.

Mandatory experience

Please bid only if you have proven experience in both GRC engineering and production drawings and Revit family creation and model coordination.

If you lack this experience, please do not apply or accept the assignment. Review the supplied drawings and specifications before confirming your price and programme.

Provide:

Two relevant completed GRC projects, including sample production drawings and calculation extracts.

Examples of Revit families and model integration.

Details of the BIM modeller and qualified engineer responsible for the calculations.

Scope of work

1. Revit 2022 families

Prepare eight native, editable, loadable families covering EXT-301, EXT-302, EXT-303, EXT-304, EXT-310, EXT-311, EXT-312 and EXT-313.

Model the actual geometry, shell thicknesses, bases, rims, voids, drainage openings, supports and lifting/fixing provisions. Include suitable parameters, material definitions, type marks, actual material volumes and estimated weights.

Parameters must work within clearly defined limits. Changes affecting structural performance require engineering review.

2. Integration into the main project model

Load, position and coordinate the families within the supplied main model using the approved layout, coordinates, levels and orientations. Check interfaces and clashes and provide location plans and quantity schedules.

Standalone families alone do not complete this scope. Main-model integration must be completed within the same 10-day period.

3. GRC engineering

Provide a complete calculation submission for each type, prepared and signed by a qualified engineer experienced in GRC.

Include the design basis, applicable project standards, GRC properties, relevant loads, shell/base thickness checks, stability, lifting and handling checks, and support/connection requirements.

Provide fibre specifications and any required reinforcement, ribs, inserts, brackets or plates. Identify material or performance discrepancies before detailed design, particularly for EXT-313.

4. Production shop drawings

Prepare dimensioned plans, elevations, sections, isometrics and fabrication details for every type. Include mold geometry, parting lines, demolding direction, tolerances, openings, lifting points, estimated weights, connection details and applicable reinforcement schedules.

All drawings, calculations and families must match.

Deliverables

Eight native Revit 2022 RFA families.

Integrated Revit 2022 RVT main model.

Complete calculation reports in PDF, with editable calculation/source files.

Production drawings in PDF and editable DWG.

Type, quantity, material and weight schedules.

Parameter read-me, drawing register and revision log.

Include two consolidated coordination/review rounds and correction of your own errors without additional charges.

Programme

Day 1: Confirm inputs and design basis.

By Day 4: First eight families and preliminary engineering checks.

By Day 7: Demonstrate the models and submit the agreed first calculations and production drawings.

By Day 10: Deliver the complete final package, including main-model integration and review corrections.

Milestones and payment

No advance payment is proposed.

Milestone amounts must be agreed in USD before work starts. ArtBeton will create a milestone only after receiving and verifying the agreed milestone work. Once accepted, the milestone will be created and released on the same day, subject to platform processing.

Screenshots or live demonstrations support review, but payment also requires the relevant native files and technical documents for verification. Incomplete or non-compliant submissions must be corrected before payment.

Any mandatory platform funding requirements must be identified and agreed before award.
