Review & Cost My 2D Short

I’ve written a script for a personal 2D animated short film and now need an expert set of eyes on it—both to tighten the storytelling and to tell me what bringing it to life will realistically cost.

Here’s what I’m after:
• A clear, constructive review of the script focused on pacing, visual opportunities, and any animation-specific red flags.
• A concise production estimate that breaks down the key cost drivers for a 2D animated video of this scope (storyboarding, character design, animation, sound, post).

I’m aiming for pure entertainment, not a marketing piece, so creative freedom and cinematic flair are welcome. If you’ve produced or budgeted animated shorts before, I’d love your insight on how to match ambition with resources and timeline.

Please share a brief note on your approach along with sample budgets or breakdowns you’ve prepared in the past.
