I’m refreshing my vintage café’s menu and want it to feel like customers have stepped straight into a classic 1950s diner. Think playful script headlines, clean sans-serif body copy, chrome-era accents and, above all, a palette of bold primary colours—bright reds, yellows and blues balanced for perfect legibility.

The finished piece will be a multi-page layout that flows naturally through three distinct sections: Starters & Main Courses, Desserts & Beverages, and a page dedicated to Daily Specials & the Kids Menu. Each page should share a cohesive look yet carry its own subtle visual cue so guests know they’ve moved to a new category.

Deliverables
• Print-ready PDFs for every page (CMYK, 300 DPI, 3 mm bleed)
• An editable source file in Adobe InDesign or Illustrator so I can update prices later
• Web-optimised PDF or PNG versions for online sharing

Acceptance criteria include period-appropriate fonts, royalty-free or original imagery, and two revision cycles to fine-tune copy or colours. If you have samples of previous retro work, feel free to include them so I can see how you capture that timeless 1950s vibe.
