I’m building a new online home for my written content and need a developer who can turn the vision into a clean, fast-loading, mobile-friendly blog. Articles will be the heart of the site, so the reading experience comes first: crisp typography, prominent feature images, and an uncluttered layout that adapts perfectly from desktop to phone.
The project breaks down into three main areas:
• Front-end redesign
– Modern look with strong visual support for article headers and in-post images
– Fully responsive grid so every page scales gracefully on mobile, tablet, and large screens
• Core blog functionality
– Intuitive publishing flow (draft, schedule, publish)
– Comment capability that’s easy to moderate
– Real-time search bar so readers can locate older posts quickly
– One-click social sharing buttons on each article
• Performance & SEO essentials
– Clean HTML5/CSS3, lightweight JavaScript, image optimisation, and lazy loading
– Meta tags, open-graph data, and an SEO-ready permalink structure
Build it on the platform you’re most confident with (WordPress, Gatsby, or a lightweight custom setup are all fine as long as future maintenance is straightforward). I’ll supply branding assets and a few reference sites once we start.
Deliverables are the live site on my hosting, a walkthrough video of the admin area, and 30 days of post-launch support to catch any issues. If this sounds like your kind of project, let’s talk timeline and milestones.
