Residential Strata Noise Assessment

I live on a ground floor apartment (slab in contact with the ground) with no adjoining apartments on 3 sides and need a strata report for approval of new engineered wood floor for a residential building. The key focus of this report is cover the strata committees responsibility to ensure that the potential noise disturbance from a new engineered wood floor installation (specifically in the living areas) is minimal. This is mainly assured by the fact that there is no one below or adjoining except for one small 4 meter section.

The report should include:

- Evaluation of noise impact from the new flooring
- Adequacy of proposed underlay
- Risk of potential noise disturbance from the one small (4 meter) area of adjoining apartment.
