I’m putting together a clear, technician-focused installation manual for residential HVAC systems and need a technical writer who speaks the language of the trade. The document has to walk a qualified installer from unboxing through commissioning, covering safety checks, ductwork and refrigerant line routing, wiring diagrams, airflow balancing, start-up procedures, and troubleshooting tips.

Please draw on current industry standards (ASHRAE, local codes, manufacturer best practices) and express them in plain, actionable language. Photos, exploded-view diagrams, and call-out graphics are essential; I can supply raw images and CAD files, but I’ll lean on you to edit and place them so every step is unambiguous.

Deliverables
• Print-ready PDF (A4 and US Letter) plus the original source file (Word, InDesign, or similar)
• Structured table of contents and hyperlinked internal navigation for the digital version
• Illustration files in SVG or high-resolution PNG, clearly labeled for future revisions

I’ll review an outline first, then a draft, and finally the polished manual. Payment will follow those three milestones once each stage meets the agreed outline and accuracy checks. If you’ve produced installation guides for split systems, heat pumps, or packaged units before, please share a sample.
