I’m launching a price-comparison website for used-device buy-back offers and need both the public-facing site and a lightweight admin area built from scratch.
Public experience
Users arrive, choose their device from a master catalogue, see real-time offers pulled from multiple partners, enter their email, and are forwarded through our affiliate links. The flow must record every click and completed lead so commission can be attributed accurately. The interface has to be lightning-fast, fully responsive on desktop, mobile and tablet, and follow SEO best practices to compete with benchmarks like CompareAndRecycle, SellMyMobile and Flipsy.
Content layer
I’ll be publishing comparison guides and industry news. A simple CMS or well-structured headless solution that lets me create, schedule and optimise articles (meta tags, schema, AMP if helpful) is required.
Integrations
• Email collection services – any mainstream provider is fine as long as you wire up the API for single-opt-in capture and tagging.
• Affiliate tracking systems – UTM parameters plus a pixel or server-side postback to log conversions.
• Pricing feed aggregators – partner XML/CSV/JSON feeds imported, normalised and cached on our end before displaying.
Admin panel
Behind the scenes I need to:
• Upload or schedule partner feeds, map their SKUs to our master catalogue and set fallback rules.
• View, filter and export lead/commission stats by partner, model or date.
• Manually edit catalogue items and partner offer copy when required.
Deliverables
1. Responsive front end built with a modern stack you’re comfortable supporting.
2. Feed ingestion layer with mapping logic and cron/queue for updates.
3. Affiliate & email tracking hooks fully tested.
4. Admin dashboard covering feed management, catalogue editing and reporting.
5. Documentation and brief hand-off session so I can maintain basic tasks myself.
Performance & quality
Core Web Vitals must stay in the green on mobile, and pages should render under 1 s on a typical 4G connection. Code should be clean, commented and pushed to a private repo I’ll provide.
Mention any relevant projects, preferred frameworks, and how you’d structure milestones when you respond.
