Project Title: Fix Google Signup Failure in Existing Browser Automation — 2Captcha
I’m looking for an experienced browser automation developer to diagnose and fix an issue in an existing script.
The automation is already built and otherwise functional. It opens the target platform, navigates the required pages, and performs the intended interactions. The issue occurs when completing “Sign up with Google” on a specific third-party platform. This is a Google-based signup flow, not the creation of a new Google account.
The signup fails for an unknown reason. Something appears to be getting flagged, rejected, or mishandled during the process, but the cause hasn’t been confirmed. I need someone to investigate and resolve this specific failure.
Scope of work:
- Review the existing code and reproduce the failure.
- Debug the Google signup flow, including popups, redirects, authentication callbacks, and session handling.
- Inspect browser logs, network requests, and responses to identify exactly where the process fails.
- Determine whether the cause involves timing, cookies, browser state, CAPTCHA, authentication configuration, or a platform-side restriction.
- Integrate or correct 2Captcha handling where applicable.
- Add clear logging, appropriate timeouts, and error handling.
- Preserve the existing working functionality.
- Verify that signup completes successfully and the browser reaches an authenticated session on the target platform.
- Explain any platform-side limitations that affect completion.
Required experience:
- Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer.
- JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, depending on the existing codebase.
- Google OAuth / “Sign in with Google” workflows.
- 2Captcha integration.
- Debugging browser automation, redirects, cookies, and authentication sessions.
Deliverables:
- Updated, working source code.
- Explanation of the root cause and fixes.
- Demonstration of successful Google signup on the target platform.
- Brief setup and run instructions.
- Secure handling of API keys and credentials outside the source code.
