Renovation 2D Floor Plan Drafting

I’m updating an existing building and need precise 2-D floor plans that clearly reflect the current layout and the renovations I intend to carry out. The drawings must be clean, professionally annotated and delivered in a format I can open in AutoCAD (DWG) as well as PDF for sharing with contractors and the city inspector.

Key deliverables
• Scaled floor-plan drawings of each level (as-is and proposed)
• Layered DWG files with dimensions, room labels, door/window tags and material notes
• A PDF set sized for both A3 printing and on-screen review

I will supply site measurements, photos and any available legacy drawings the moment we start. Your job is to translate that information into accurate, construction-ready plans, flagging any inconsistencies you spot along the way.

Experience in renovation work is important, as you’ll need to think through demolition lines, new wall locations and code-compliant clearances. Familiarity with residential building standards in North America is a plus, though not mandatory if you can reference the guidelines I provide.
