Remote IT Systems Manager Needed

I run a small but growing company whose staff is scattered across several time zones. Because we have no physical headquarters, every employee depends on a reliable, secure technology stack to stay productive. I need an experienced IT systems manager who can step in and own that environment from end to end.

Day-to-day you will:
• Monitor and maintain all user workstations, keeping operating systems, apps and security patches current.
• Administer accounts, permissions and backups in our cloud services (you’ll help me choose or streamline them where necessary).
• Act as first-line support for the team: diagnose connection issues, resolve software conflicts and keep Zoom—our primary meeting platform—running smoothly.
• Document processes so onboarding a new remote hire is as simple as handing them a checklist.
• Proactively recommend improvements that raise uptime, security and overall user satisfaction.

Success criteria
• Remote staff log fewer than two unresolved IT tickets per month.
• Critical updates are deployed within 48 hours of release.
• Zoom outages or call-quality complaints are investigated and fixed within one business day.
• A concise, living IT handbook is delivered within the first 30 days.
