I need reliable support handling every aspect of our customer-data intake. The work revolves around transferring, updating, and verifying records that arrive as Excel spreadsheets, scanned paper documents, or information captured through online forms.
You’ll work primarily in Microsoft Excel to clean and normalise each batch, then move the validated records into our database management system, cross-checking for duplicates and completeness before you sign them off. Accuracy is critical because these entries feed directly into our customer-facing tools and reporting dashboards, so I expect a careful eye for detail as well as the discipline to maintain consistent naming conventions and field formats.
Turnaround time matters: once a file or scan is shared, I’d like it entered and confirmed within 24 hours on weekdays. To help track progress, a short activity log noting the date, source file, and any issues flagged will accompany each upload.
Deliverables
• All customer records correctly entered and timestamped in the database
• Cleaned source spreadsheets returned with any corrections highlighted
• A brief error / exception log for entries that could not be validated
If you are comfortable juggling spreadsheets, scanned pages, and database screens while keeping error rates close to zero, this should be a smooth, ongoing arrangement.
