I’m putting the finishing touches on “The The Big Lie,” the award-nominated feature from New World Order Films, and I now need a dedicated sound-editing pass. The picture edit is locked; what remains is to elevate the overall sonic experience so it matches the film’s critical success.
Scope
• Sound editing is the primary focus—from dialogue cleanup and ambience balancing to subtle transitions that keep the audience immersed.
• I already have all production tracks, ADR files and stems organised in clearly labelled folders, ready for pull-down into your DAW of choice (Pro Tools, Fairlight, Reaper, etc.).
• I’m open to your creative input on how best to polish problematic sections; however, no visual effects or picture recuts are required.
Deliverable
A final, fully synced 5.1 (plus summed stereo) mix that is festival-ready, along with the session file and separate stems for dialogue, effects and music.
Timeline
I’d like to begin as soon as possible, review a first pass in about a week, and lock the master shortly after. Let me know your typical turnaround so we can align schedules.
If you have a strong reel that highlights dialogue work, ambience sculpting or intricate sound design, I’d love to hear it—let’s make sure the audio shines as brightly as the story itself.
