Role overview
You will be the first point of contact for a UK business, answering calls, welcoming enquiries and keeping the front office running smoothly from home. This is a full-time, 100% remote role for South African talent, working UK hours: 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST).
Key responsibilities
Answer and direct calls and messages
Respond to general enquiries by email and chat
Manage diaries and book appointments
Handle post, deliveries and visitor logs with the team
Keep contact records up to date
What you'll need
Experience as a receptionist or front-desk administrator
Warm, professional spoken and written English
Confident with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
Good organisation and multitasking
Able to work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST)
Nice to have
Experience with a virtual phone system
Familiarity with booking tools such as Calendly
Previous work with UK businesses
