Realistic Children’s Book Design

My children’s school books are fully written and now needs a complete, print-ready makeover. I want the entire book—cover to final page—designed in a realistic illustration style that will engage young readers while still feeling timeless on a bookshelf.

Here is exactly what I need:

• Cover design
• Interior page layout (including text placement, typography and page numbers)
• Full-colour realistic illustrations for every page, prepared with proper bleeds and crop marks

Final files should arrive as high-resolution PDFs ready for offset or POD printing, plus layered source files (PSD, AI or Procreate) so I can handle future reprints without starting from scratch. Colour space must be CMYK, 300 dpi minimum.

Along the way, I’d like low-res watermarked proofs for each milestone so feedback and tweaks can be folded in before locking artwork. If you have experience preparing children’s titles for IngramSpark or KDP, that will be a bonus, but the core need is a polished, production-ready book that stays true to a realistic visual style.
