Real-Time Chat & Alerts

I need a web-based chat platform that delivers messages instantly and keeps every participant in the loop with three kinds of alerts: email, browser/mobile push, and SMS. The system must recognise a dedicated Moderator role—no additional admin panel is required beyond what is necessary for that single role’s privileges.

Core messaging capabilities include smooth group conversations and hassle-free file sharing. Please architect the back-end so that new roles or extra features (like message encryption) could be layered in later without major refactoring.

• Fully functional real-time chat (front-end + back-end)
• Integrated email, push, and SMS notification flows, each testable with sample accounts
• Role-based access control limited to “Moderator” and standard users
• Group chat creation/management and drag-or-select file uploads with progress feedback
• Deployment instructions and concise setup documentation

I’ll review the build on a staging URL first; once everything passes functional testing and code review, we can move to production hand-off.
