React Portfolio & Store Build

I’m putting together a modern personal site built with React that doubles as a basic e-commerce store. The public-facing pages will be Home, About, Skills, Projects, Resume and Contact, each fully responsive and offered in both light and dark modes. My visual preference leans toward a professional, clean look so white space, readable typography and an uncluttered layout are important.

For the shop area, I only need a straightforward catalogue of products—no payment gateway for now. Think clear product cards, filtering by category and an intuitive cart preview that readies the site for future checkout integration.

Smooth motion is key. I’d like subtle page transitions, satisfying hover effects and a brief loading animation so the experience feels polished without being distracting.

Core stack: React.js with modern hooks, functional components and react-router. If you prefer an animation helper such as Framer Motion or GSAP, great—just keep the performance lightweight.

Deliverables
• Complete React codebase with modular components and SCSS/CSS-in-JS styling
• Fully responsive layout, including dark mode toggle
• Product listing module with add-to-cart functionality (local state or Context)
