I have a 100-page document preserved only as high-resolution scanned images. Each page mixes paragraphs of text with embedded images such as tables, small graphics, and occasional photos. I need the entire file meticulously re-typed and rebuilt so it looks and reads exactly like the original, then saved as a single, clean PDF.
Scope of work
• Re-create every word with zero typos, maintaining original fonts, headings, and spacing.
• Extract each image from the scans (or re-insert the provided image files if you prefer) and position them precisely where they appear in the source.
• Preserve page breaks so the final pagination matches the scan.
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % text accuracy (spell-check and manual proofread).
• Identical layout and image placement when the PDF is compared side by side with the scans.
• Final PDF optimised for standard viewing (≤10 MB if possible) and unlocked for future editing.
You are free to use any combination of Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat, or similar OCR tools—as long as the finished PDF meets the above standards. Please let me know your estimated turnaround time and any clarifying questions you may have.
