I’m looking for an experienced bookkeeper or accountant who can turn my raw financial data into a clear, compliant Profit & Loss statement that my tax preparer can rely on. The focus is strictly tax filing, so accuracy, correct categorisation and attention to current tax-code requirements are critical.

Scope of work
• Compile income and expense data from the documents I’ll provide (bank statements, sales summaries, receipts).
• Reconcile the figures to ensure nothing is missing or duplicated.
• Produce a quarterly Profit & Loss statement in both PDF (final, locked) and an editable spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets).
• Highlight any irregularities or deductions that may need follow-up before filing.

Preferred tools
QuickBooks, Xero or a well-structured Excel workflow—whatever you’re most efficient with, as long as the final numbers are audit-ready.

Acceptance criteria
1. Totals align with source documents within a ±0.5% tolerance.
2. Categories follow standard IRS line items.
3. Files are delivered within the agreed deadline, ready for my CPA to attach to the return.

Please let me know your turnaround time and any questions you need answered before you start.
