Punjabi Typing Services

I have several handwritten Punjabi (Gurmukhi) manuscripts that will eventually become publish-ready books. I need every word transferred faithfully into a digital file and laid out exactly to my specifications. Because the source pages are handwritten, accuracy matters; I want the finished text to read exactly as on the page, free of spelling or matra errors.

Here is what the job involves:

• Read my scanned handwritten pages and type them in Unicode-compliant Gurmukhi.
• Apply the detailed layout I will provide—chapter breaks, headings, page numbering, margins, and footnote placement.
• Return a clean, proof-read Word (or Google Docs) file that can flow straight into print or e-book production.

I can share sample pages and the style sheet before we start so you know the expected font size, paragraph spacing, and heading hierarchy. If you already use tools such as Asees, Raavi, or AnmolLipi keyboards and have experience preparing Punjabi books for print, you will find the workflow straightforward.

Acceptance criteria for each batch:

1. 100 % of lines transcribed with no missing words.
2. Formatting matches the style sheet provided.
3. File passes a quick proof-read on my end with no more than minor typos (I expect perfection after your own spell-check).
