Job Overview
An established UK engineering company is seeking a motivated and commercially driven Sales & Projects Coordinator to manage and expand an existing business subdivision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, generating sales and independently coordinating projects from initial customer enquiry through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the existing customer base.
- Manage customer enquiries, quotations, negotiations and sales follow-ups.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed orders and profitable sales.
- Coordinate complete project execution, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing and delivery.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Monitor project schedules, costs and delivery commitments.
- Manage day-to-day subdivision activities and report directly to management.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and business profitability.
Requirements
- Experience in technical sales, business development or project coordination.
- Engineering, manufacturing or industrial sector experience preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Commercially focused with a proactive approach to business growth.
- Must be UK-based with the legal right to work in the UK.
