PSD to Website Conversion - DNN/WordPress

Website Development from Supplied PSD Designs – DNN Preferred or WordPress

We are looking for an experienced website developer to build a simple, professional information website from supplied PSD design files.

The homepage and internal-page designs will be provided as layered PSD files. The completed website must follow these designs precisely.

Platform

* DNN (DotNetNuke) is strongly preferred.
* WordPress proposals will also be considered.
* Please clearly state which platform you recommend and why.

Content Management Requirement

The website must be developed using a user-friendly content management system. Once development is complete, the client must be able to log in and update the website content themselves without requiring coding knowledge or ongoing assistance from the developer.

The client must be able to edit:

* Page text and headings
* Images
* Buttons and links
* Contact details
* Menu items, where appropriate
* SEO titles and descriptions
* Other standard page content

All editable areas must be configured within DNN or WordPress. Content must not be hard-coded where this would prevent the client from making routine updates.

The CMS editing experience should be clear and straightforward, and the developer must provide administrator access and basic instructions at handover.

Project Requirements:

* Convert the supplied PSD designs into a fully functioning website.
* Reproduce the layouts accurately—not approximately.
* Match all colours, fonts, font sizes, font weights, headings, spacing, alignment, imagery, and other design elements.
* Build responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
* Create reusable templates for the homepage and internal pages.
* Configure user-friendly content-editing functionality throughout the website.
* Include navigation, contact forms, links, and standard informational website features.
* Optimise the website for performance and basic on-page SEO.
* Ensure compatibility with current versions of major browsers.
* Install and configure the completed website on our hosting environment.
* Test the website thoroughly and resolve all defects before handover.

Attention to Detail Is Essential

The supplied PSD files are the approved designs and must be followed exactly. We are looking for a developer who takes pride in pixel-accurate implementation and checks their own work carefully.

This includes matching:

* Colours and backgrounds
* Fonts, font weights, and font sizes
* Headings and text styles
* Margins, padding, and spacing
* Image sizes and positioning
* Page widths and alignment
* Buttons, forms, and navigation
* Desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts

Deliverables

* Fully developed home page and one internal page layout.
* Responsive homepage and internal-page templates.
* DNN or WordPress CMS configured for easy client updates.
* All standard page content made editable through the CMS.
* Supplied content and images added where included in the agreed scope..
* Website installed and launched on our hosting.
* All source files and relevant licences transferred upon completion.
