Private Insurance Claim Follow-Up & Appeals

I need an experienced medical biller to step in and take over the follow-up and appeal process on a batch of private insurance claims that are sitting in limbo. All initial submissions have already been sent; what’s missing is the persistent, detail-oriented work that turns pending or denied claims into paid ones.
Here’s what I expect:
• Proactive follow-up with payers by phone or portal to determine current claim status, document every interaction, and push each claim toward resolution
• Preparation and submission of well-supported appeals for any denials, using payer-specific forms and language while attaching all required clinical notes, EOBs, and modifiers
• Clear, concise reporting back to me—claim by claim—so I always know where we stand and what the next step is
You’ll be working in our cloud-based PM/EHR system (I’ll provide secure credentials), so familiarity with common platforms like Kareo, AdvancedMD, or similar will help you start fast. Accuracy, persistence, and a solid grasp of private insurance guidelines are essential; I’m looking for someone who knows exactly which payer policies to cite and how to keep a claim from falling through the cracks.
If you’ve successfully chased down aging private insurance A/R before and can back that up with examples, let’s talk.
