We need a Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor for an upcoming brand video project. Please find the project details and hiring requirement below.
Project: 45-Second Brand Introduction Video
Team: Video / Creative Team
Experience: Preferably 2+ years of relevant experience
Project Deadline: Monday, 26 October 2026
As an initial approach, we can consider hiring a freelancer on an hourly basis for this video project. Depending on their performance, quality of work and overall suitability, we can explore offering them a permanent role.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor to create a premium, contemporary 45-second brand introduction video based on an existing PowerPoint presentation.
The video should communicate the brand's identity, expertise, human approach and use of AI through polished animation, visual storytelling and seamless transitions. The output should feel like a professional brand film rather than an animated PowerPoint presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Create a high-quality 45-second brand video in 16:9 widescreen format.
Develop custom 2D motion graphics, typography animation, logo reveals and smooth transitions.
Animate brand elements, including ribbon/swirl graphics, statistics, icons and process diagrams.
Bring existing photography and product interface visuals to life using subtle zooms, pans, layered movement and compositing.
Follow the supplied brand guidelines, including colours, typography, logo usage and visual direction.
Work with existing PowerPoint content while preserving approved wording and messaging.
Integrate suitable background music and subtle sound effects.
Edit, render and export the final video in a presentation-ready format.
Incorporate feedback and deliver revisions within the agreed timeline.
Required Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation, or DaVinci Resolve with Fusion for equivalent motion design and compositing work.
Good video editing skills using DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience with keyframe animation, masking, motion paths, typography animation, compositing and transitions.
Understanding of visual storytelling, timing, pacing and brand consistency.
Ability to work with existing design assets and maintain accurate product visuals.
A strong portfolio demonstrating professionally produced brand films, explainer videos or corporate motion graphics.
Good-to-Have Skills
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for preparing visual assets.
Experience animating SaaS product interfaces and software demonstrations.
Sound design and audio synchronisation.
Experience creating premium corporate or technology brand videos.
Deliverables
One polished brand introduction video, no longer than 45 seconds.
16:9 widescreen format.
Final video with music and sound effects, without voiceover.
Revisions based on client feedback.
Editable project/source files, if required.
