I have a collection of PDFs—some are born-digital with selectable text, others are scanned images—that I need rebuilt in Microsoft Word. The finished files must let me edit every piece of text, heading, and paragraph while still looking exactly like the originals in terms of fonts, sizes, alignment, and overall page design.

Your task
I will send a folder containing both types of PDFs. Use whatever combination of Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, OCR plugins, or native Word tools you prefer, so long as the outcome meets the criteria below.

Acceptance criteria
• Each Word document opens without missing fonts or style breaks.
• All body text, headings, and paragraphs are fully editable.
• Page layout, spacing, and formatting mirror the PDF so closely that a casual reader cannot spot the difference.
• Scanned pages are run through reliable OCR and cleaned up—no recognition errors left behind.
• No content is dropped: images, page numbers, footnotes, and headers all remain in place, though only the text elements must stay editable.

When you reply, briefly outline your approach to handling both digital PDF extraction and high-accuracy OCR for the scanned pages, plus an estimated turnaround time per 50 pages.
